** spoiler alert ** Of the three stories in the anthology, I really liked two of them. The story by J.A. Hornbuckle left me sadly disappointed. I really enjoyed her story in Love Without Boundaries and looked forward to more stories connected to it, but this one didn't do it for me. I hope that Kirall's Kiss will be the beginning of a new series. I wish it had gone on just a little longer with them returning to the Supreme's land and how the others viewed the return of a Supreme. Rylin's Fire seems to be related to A World Beyond series. I do look forward to seeing more from this world. There seems to be so loose ends. Why did Breya chose to mate with Ranald rather than Kon (it would appear she loathed him) and what was up between Sana and Mikal?

Bound By Heat A Dragon Shifter Anthology edition by MK Eidem JA Hornbuckle Michelle Howard Romance eBooks Reviews

Bound by Heat contains three separate dragon stories that grab your attention immediately and keeps it till the end. I love and have read books by each of he authors before this and expected nothing short of great stories.
I enjoyed this anthology. The stories by MK Eidem and Michelle Howard were great. Interesting takes on dragons. I didn't read the JA Hornbuckle story but that was only because I don't like first person. Totally personal preference. I'm sure it's a good story.
Ok ... yes and no ..
Yes really enjoyed the first book by MK Eidem somewhat predictable (could see the plot twist coming) but a enjoyable read a couple of really and good grief moments and whilst not too stupid to live she definately had a totally too naive to believe moment, but still very happy with the story.. off to re-read that next.

No .. JA Hornbuckle story ... no just no! I think this must have been a shorter story and its been padded with hero assholiness really someone you have dreamed of for years and you finally find her and become a undecided twit ... hit it and "cya" what kind of hero is that? And the doormat oops Heroine she gets emotionally shredded repeatedly and lays down for more?

The Military protagonist (well the aliens are the baddies) I was just rolling my eyes at the stupidity, yes bureaucracy is stupid sometimes but this was just ridiculous

4 stars for Mk Eidem
1.5 stars for JA Hornbuckle book
Each author brings a wonderful creativity to the whole storyline with each addition complimenting the plots of the Dragon's and their Lira's/mates. It's a lot of fun reading and I'm recommending that you check it out for yourself and the price is great way to get 3 for the money.🛀🔰😍
MKE's story is not as great as her other works but the best in this series. It turned out to be a very sweet story but the beginning scenes with Autumn and the hero was far-fetched and very FAST. I guess with Novellas there's really no time to waste. Same with Howard's book. Hornbuckle's book was so bad, I couldn't finish it. Definitely of the three, Eidem's was the best.
Three stories in this book. The first and last are fantastic. I anxiously await follow ups (hopefully). The middle story, not so much. I really felt like it took away from the rest of the book. Its the only reason I didn't give this anthology five start. The story is about a dragon shifter who pines for a girl he fell in love with as a boy, then when he finds her, he can't commit, treats her like a bootie call, and cant understand when she isn't thankful for that little bit of sex. Really? No, could have done without this one. But story one and three, awesome!!!! Just skip number two when you read this anthology.
Kirall's Kiss - M.K Eidem I really enjoyed this book, not quite up to her usual standard but a very enjoyable read. I wasn't crazy about the set-up that got them together but, it worked for this story. I did like Autumn and her background story was very sad, but she definitely wasn't a quitter. 4.5 stars for this story.

A Dragon’s Promise- J.A. Hornbuckle; Not my favorite, I couldn't get into the characters and I definitely didn't like the politics involved in this storyline. I'm sure the military has done similar things. This just wasn't my type of storyline or world building. 3 Stars

Rylin’s Fire- Michelle Howard - A definite winner! Rylin has a position he never wanted and a woman who didn't want him. Now that he is King, he's hoping to find another mate now that women from earth and other planets are coming to his world to find mates. They have found that women from earth are self serving and don't think of them as men but as myths. Until he meets the right woman from earth! 4.5 Stars.
