I purchased this book, but honestly, havn't read it yet because I don't have a kindle. The five stars are simply because the author is contributing to a very worthy cause: the "More Than Me" foundation a nonprofit that rescues girls from the Liberian slums and educates them. The $3.99 is worth it. I am sure the book is everything that everyone says it is because I've read some of her other written material and find her to be insightful and heartwarming. This book would be great to share with young kiddos, but also good reflections for those big kiddos,like me. Can't wait to read at bedtime with my kids!
Great book and worth every penny. It was really special to me because even though I'm not for a different country I've been through some of the same experiences.
Great concept! As i flipped through these pages, thoughts of my Liberian friend's little girl kept running through my mind. Bought him a copy, and now he wants a hard copy! This book is a true work of arts!
This is a really sweet story about a girl who feels like she doesn't belong. She comes to realize that everyone's unique in their own way, and that these are the things that make us special. It's an important lesson for kids to keep in mind, because almost all of us feel like we don't fit in at some point in time.
